Deciding My Major

I am an exchange student for 1year so actually I am a junior in Korean university. My major is Hospitality management.
I want to transfer this school and I will try when I finish this programe.
If I am admitted to MSU, I also want to study about hospitality management. Because I heard that MSU has high quality education about hospitality management. That is why I decided come here.
One important thing is I am interested in hospitality management and I hope work in the hotel when I graduate university.
Friday's results was executive but I think it is not correct. I never think about ececutive and it is very far from me.
I just want to study hospitality management and I will do my best :)
　
　

My Experience at Wilcox Elementary School

Last weekend, I went to Wilcox elementary school with Mica and my classmates. Actually it was Mica's class group project so we prepared how to teach for Wilcox elementary shool student in the class.
I prepared with Megumi who is from Japan.
We taught them about Korea and Japan. We made Korean and Japanese flag and we prepared activity about how to make Korean and Japanese flag for student. We also explained about map.
I made Korean and Japanese map. Actually it was very hard work than other work. But when I show students they really liked map and flags so it made me happy. We prepared another activity.
We explained how to use chopstic. Students were interested and they also good at use chopstic. It was very excited.
I could teach them about my country and it was very good experience. Also students paid attention when I taught them so it was good. I felt time was too fast. I wanted to stay elementary school more.
I miss them and I want to go again when I have chance.
It was really good time. I will not forget about that time :)
　
　

Halloween Day

On Octber 31, I went to a house party with my friends for Halloween day. Before we went to there we drunk some beer and we wore Hallowen costume each other. I wore police costume. It was cool!

I saw many decoration for halloween as like pumkins, spiders, spider's thread, many kinds of beautiful lights this weekend.
Everyone was crazy about Halloween day. It made me excited.
I was really interested!

I met many kinds of people in the party. We drunk together and danced.
I took many pictures with people who came to party.
The craziest costume was baby costume.
One guy wore just a baby's diaper. Actually he was totally naked.
It was so funny. I had very great time in the party.
I made some good friends and got many interesting pictures.
It will be one of the great memory in USA.
　
　

Plan My Thanksgiving

I will go to Chicago on Thanksgiving Day. I already made a plan with my Korean friends so I want to explain about my real travel plan.

Im going to go Chicago with 5friends and we booked amtrak ticket.

This ticket is kind of aroud trip ticket and total price is $82.

If we booked earlier we could buy ticket cheaper than now but some friends didnt decide about travel so we could not buy ticket earlier.

It is a shame but we are very excited about travel.

We are going to take train on Nov 25th at 8:30a.m from East Lansing Station and we will arrive Chicago Union Station at 11:59a.m.

When we arrive Chicago we will go to our lodging we also booked our lodging as like a youth hostel.

This youth hostel owner is Korean so we can get good information and they offer breakfast even though Korean food! One of my friend went to Chicago before so she recommended this youth hostel.

One good thing is the owner of youth hostel could remember her so he discounted total price so we can pay just per 1 day $25 each person.

We are going to stay Chicago while 3days. I paid total $157 for train and hostel so I left $343. I will spend this money for food or shopping.

Im really excited and I cant wait this travel!

　
　

My Dormitory

I live in Mcdonel hall west #629 now.

There are many interesting people, especially 6floor!!!

I live with American roommate. Her name is Chealsea and 19years old. We are already closer friend and I like her very much. My roommate and I always hang out together. We really like shopping so we usually go to mall on weekend. She has a car so it is very easy to go there.

If you want to live here, you should live with roommate but if you pay more you can live yourself as like single room. I like Mcdonel hall because it is very comfortable and I have many good friends here. I can make fun with my friends. We always study together, have meal together, everything makes me like here!!

But one bad thing is bathroom. We shoud share bathroom with suitemates. When I lived first time I could not understand this situation It was very uncomfortable, but now I am adapted this situation so it is no matter anymore.

My closer classmates Ariel and Megumi will move Mcdonel west side soon. I can not wait it!!! I can be sure we will help each other. You can see my room's picture but actually now a little bit different because My roommate and I got loaf beds so we had many space. We changed many things ourroom. If you want to see or hang out with me welcome to my room any time!!! :)

　

　

My favorite restaurant in East Lansing

My favorite restaurant is Charlie Kang. It is a very popular restaurant for Korean. There are many kinds of Korean food.

Charlie Kang is located in Grandriver. I usually go with my Korean friends When I feel sick of cafetaria food or really miss my country food.

This restaurant has many advantage. First every worker are working very hard. They give good service and they are always kind for customers. Most important thing is thier food is very delicious! I can say everything is wonderful!

Actually my Japaness, American, Chinese friends really like Charlie Kang restaurant,too.

I recommand to you guys Bulgogi and Bibimbab.

Bulgogi is like pork with some vegetables and sweet sauce. Bibimbab is a little bit spicy food but you can make it not spicy, too.
